The Route

Starting near Quiryat, just a short drive from Muscat, the ODC will cross the Eastern Al Hajar Mountains and head towards the final stage through the Wahiba Sand Sea.

The mountain stages cross some extremely difficult terrain, reaching an altitude of over 2,000 metres. After the extremely demanding mountain crossing competitors will race through the mighty dunes of the Wahiba Sand Sea. This has to be adventure running at it's best!

Competitors will be provided with a laminated map/route book during registration in Oman.
